Radon Mitigation

We do radon gas mitigation!

Radon gas is the odorless gas that seeps into your home from the basement slab or walls around the footing.  The gas is found throughout Minnesota but is more prominent in certain areas (like clay soils).  Here are several good articles on radon, detecting radon and radon mitigation techniques:

To test for radon gas you will need a radon test kit (about $10-$15 at your local builders supply store) and follow the direction.  You will need to send off the radon samples to a testing site (usually $30).  If you have radon levels over the 4.0 pCi/L you should consider installing an active radon mitigation system.
